Eligibility Criteria:-

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related engineering discipline with strong technical and mathematical programming experience.
  • Experience with high level language development, preferably .NET C# but also Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Experienced working in virtual (remote) development teams using Agile development process (Scrum)
  • Ability and confidence to work and think independently, including

Preferred Skill Set:–

  • Experience and knowledge of database security
  • Experience in fine tuning SQL queries and data replication
  • Experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide high performance and availability of service
  • Must also have the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical resources.
  • Responsible for end-to-end delivery of data management solutions – gathering business requirements, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Develop detailed test conditions and test cases to assure quality of queries and data reports
  • Develop code for automation of tasks in SQL and PowerShell
  • Execute a strategy whereby database changes are always scripted first then applied to each instance in a controlled environment
  • High degree of accuracy, meticulous attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Solid understanding of software and programming fundamentals
  • In-depth understanding of how to organize and manipulate data (how to design schemas and efficient data queries)
  • Understand how a query optimizer works in a modern Relational Database Management System (RDMS) and how to observe its function in software tools
  • Knowledge of domain driven design, persistence ignorance, and the Repository Design Pattern
  • Understanding of spatial data types (geometries) and how to use them in a modern RDMS
  • Understanding of Object Relational Mappers (ORMs) such as NHibernate or Entity Framework
  • Knowledge of migration frameworks (such as Fluent Migrator) is a Plus.
