Job Description

• Review and analyze system specifications, user documentation, input files creation, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.

• Collaborate with team to develop effective strategies, test plans and Test cases.

• Understand requirements, design exhaustive test scenarios, execute manual and automated test cases, dig deeper into issues, identify root causes, and articulate defects clearly followed by demo to PO and HSBC SME.

• Ownership should be taken and act as a coordinator to drive all issues independently along with BA and Developer

• Disciplined reporting, tracking, and resolution of defects, re-testing defect fixes, and regression testing

• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.

• Report issues and ensure closure.

• Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.

• Exposure and hand-on experience in API testing would be desirable.

• Hands-on experience with scripting in Java, Shell, or Python is an add-on.

• Exposure and hand-on experience in Automation testing is an add-on.
